Seek, and you will find...so choose wisely!

Émile Coué de la Châtaigneraie (1857 - 1926) was a French psychologist and pharmacist who introduced a popular method of psychotherapy and self-improvement based on optimistic self-suggestion. One of the most potent self-suggestions Coué postulated is referred to as The Law Of Concentrated Attention, or "What you focus upon, increases". Humans are goal seeking, so it's part of our ancient hunter-gatherer make-up that we look for things. By opening our minds to possibilities, we recognise them more easily. In relation to 21st century issues: If we focus upon the chaos caused by current events, then because we choose to focus upon the chaos, then that is what we will find - We find chaos beca

Poverty is spiritual, not simply financial

I was recently inspired by an exhibition entitled "Let me be myself - The life story of Anne Frank", which played at Expressions Whirinaki, in my home town Upper Hutt. Anne Frank's life was cut far too short by the events of her time, and the fears behind them Yet despite this, no matter how little she had, Anne Frank learned that giving and sharing did not mean becoming poor, but instead enriched her spirit Think what giving can do for you! Be mindful of what you do, how you do it, and how it looks to others. That is your reputation.

At Andrew Hardwick Hypnotherapy we strive to build a reputation for evidence-based, ethical practices. One of the ways we do this is by offering Complementary Planning Consultations of approximately 30 minutes duration, free of charge. We see these Complementary Planning Consultations as similar to "browse time" in a shop. This is your opportunity to ask questions about how we can help you, and to decide how you wish to proceed. In principle this is similar to going into a car showroom for a test drive, or into a computer store for advice on technology. You would not expect those places to charge you for asking questions about whether their products are right for you. This is the same. Book
